"Thanks to everyone who extended their best wishes to me during my nomination for "Folk Singer Of The Year". I had brilliant evening in Cardiff the other night and although I missed out Sam and I were over the moon that Nancy Kerr won. In fact, we would have been happy for all the nominees in the category to have picked up the title. The aftershow was great fun, I especially loved meeting Nessa (Ruth Jones) and it was fantastic catching up with old friends."
There has been a long and ongoing misunderstanding regarding the YouTube video of "Man In The Rain" from Mike Oldfield's "Live At Horseguards Parade" performance filmed in 1998. Cara would like to clarify that this video does indeed feature her vocals from the studio recording but the video shows Pepsi DeMacque miming to Cara's voice.
