Cara has officially been invited as one of only 12 artists to perform a showcase at GlobalFEST in the prestigious Webster Hall in New York on January 10th 2010. The official write up about the event goes a bit like this:
For seven years GlobalFEST has been the springboard festival for world music artists on the brink of North American national mainstage success, performers known in one community but ready to cross into others, and the marquee stars of tomorrow.

USA Album Release !............

Cara's latest album "Hill Of Thieves" was officially released on September 15th in the US. It is available to buy at most online retailers and all record stores worth their salt. The album has different cover art than the European release.

GRAND OPERA HOUSE ** DVD **............

A huge thank you to everyone who was at the Grand Opera House in Belfast on Sunday 13th Sept for the filming of Cara's live DVD. It was a truly incredible evening for all involved with an overwhelming sense that something very special was unfolding on stage. The music was absolutely breathtaking and the audience got a whole lot more than they expected.
Well done to Cara and Sam and their amazing band for such a stunning concert. They received no more than three standing ovations from the sold out audience. A big thank you to all the film, lighting and stage crew and everyone else who was part of the project.
The release has been tentatively set for Spring 2010.

Cara's been selected to join the illustrious rock/pop/country/classical elite in part of the high profile HMV "My Inspiration" campaign. People like Bob Dylan, Noel Gallagher, David Bowie, Amy Winehouse and Alison Krauss have all given a quote from a song or artist that has proved to be a major inspiration to them. It wont come as a surprise to most of you to hear that Cara chose a lyric from Kate Bush's "This Woman's Work"

"Hill Of Thieves" - No 7 in the UK Indie Chart !!............

"Hill Of Thieves" is currently spending it's fifth week in the TOP 20 of the official UK INDIE CHART. The album entered at Number 7 which is the best chart position Cara's ever had.
Thanks a million to everyone who has already got their copy and please continue recommending it to your friends.
Congratulations to Cara and Sam for this fantastic achievement and may it be the first of many.
